What is the difference between a transfer and a chauffeur service?
The Transfer is a point-to-point service: the driver waits for you, takes you to your destination, and the service ends. The Chauffeur Service is an ongoing service—the driver remains at your disposal for half a day or a full day, ready to take you wherever you need to go, with no restrictions on time or destination.
Will I always have the same driver?
Where possible, yes. Driver continuity is one of Knight NCC’s core principles. Our goal is for you to know your private driver by name, and for him to know your preferences even before he meets you. For regular customers, a dedicated private driver is the rule, not the exception.
Do the drivers speak English?
Yes. Knight Private drivers communicate in Italian and English. For international customers, the reception service is provided entirely in English—from the name sign to the confirmation message, right through to communication during the trip.
How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?
We recommend contacting us at least 48 hours in advance to ensure the availability of a dedicated driver. For important dates—such as events, international arrivals, or corporate services—we suggest doing so 7–15 days in advance. We also accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible: please contact us directly via WhatsApp.
Can I change or cancel a reservation?
Yes. Changes to schedules, destinations, or dates are handled directly with the driver or through our dedicated contact, with no red tape. For cancellations, the terms provided at the time of confirmation apply—they’re always clear and come with no surprises.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Each transfer service includes one hour of free waiting time in the fare—the driver remains available at no additional cost for the first 60 minutes from the agreed-upon time. After the first hour, you can extend the wait time by up to 2 additional hours at a cost of €55.00 per hour, including 10% VAT. Extended wait time is arranged directly with the driver or through our dedicated contact person. If, after 2 hours of additional wait time, we have not received any communication from the customer, the service will be classified as a “No Show.” In this case, the service must be paid in full (100%), regardless of actual usage. To avoid any inconvenience, we ask that you notify us promptly in the event of unexpected delays—a message via WhatsApp is sufficient. We are always available and ready to find the best solution.
Do you issue invoices to businesses?
Yes. Knight NCC issues regular invoices for all services. For companies with ongoing needs, it is possible to arrange a customized business agreement that includes trip reports and tailored terms. Please contact us so we can work together to find the best solution for you.
Do you also operate outside of Tuscany?
Yes. Our main hub is in Tuscany, but we operate throughout Italy and, upon request, to international destinations as well. For transfers outside the region, please contact us directly for a customized quote.
