Can I customize the itinerary?
Absolutely. The itinerary we’re suggesting is a starting point, not a set route. Would you like to include a specific winery, stop in a particular village, or avoid the most crowded destinations? We’ll discuss it together before the day of the tour. The driver knows all the alternatives—back roads, hidden lookouts, and stops you won’t find in guidebooks.
Will the driver take us through the villages?
The driver will drop you off at the entrance to the pedestrian areas and wait for you when you return, staying close to the vehicle at all times and available at any moment. Before each stop, he will provide you with all the necessary information—where to go, what not to miss, and how much time to allow. He is not a tour guide, but he knows every village as if he were one.
How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?
We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance to ensure the availability of a dedicated driver and a customized itinerary. During the high season—May, June, July, August, and September—we suggest booking even further in advance, especially for weekend dates. For last-minute requests, the fastest way to contact us is via WhatsApp.
What kind of vehicles do you use?
We use only the latest-generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class and V-Class vehicles—both fully equipped, immaculate, and meticulously prepared before every ride. The S-Class is ideal for up to 3 passengers, while the V-Class accommodates up to 7. Both offer the same level of comfort, privacy, and attention to detail.
Is lunch included in the price?
No. Lunch is not included in the tour price and is arranged independently by the customer. However, the driver knows the best restaurants, trattorias, and agritourism spots along each itinerary—he can make recommendations and make reservations for you before the tour or even on the day of the tour. The lunch break is flexible: you can eat wherever and whenever you like.
What happens if it rains?
The tour takes place as scheduled. The Val d’Orcia takes on a unique, poetic charm even in the rain—the morning fog over the hills, the quiet villages, the cozy wine cellars. The tour is never canceled unilaterally due to weather conditions. If inclement weather were to make a specific part of the outdoor itinerary inadvisable, we will notify you in advance and suggest equally valid alternatives. The final decision is always yours.
