Absolutely. The itinerary we’re suggesting is a starting point, not a set route. Would you like to include a specific winery, stop in a particular village, or avoid the most crowded destinations? We’ll discuss it together before the day of the tour. The driver knows all the alternatives—back roads, hidden lookouts, and stops you won’t find in guidebooks.
Are the tastings included in the base price?
No. Wine tastings at the wineries are not included in the tour price and are paid for directly by the customer at the winery being visited. This allows us to give you complete freedom of choice—you can decide where to stop, what to taste, and how much to spend without any predefined restrictions. Upon request, we can recommend the best wineries based on your itinerary and assist with reservations.
What are the lunch options?
Lunch is not included in the tour—the choice of restaurant is entirely up to you. The driver knows the best local trattorias, Michelin-starred restaurants, and historic taverns along every itinerary. If you’d like a recommendation or a reservation, just ask—we’ll arrange it before the tour or even on the day of the tour. The lunch break is flexible: you eat when you want, not when the itinerary says.
How many people can participate in the tour?
Tours are available for groups of up to 3 people in a Mercedes S-Class and up to 7 people in a Mercedes V-Class. In both cases, the comfort, quality, and level of service remain the same. For larger groups, please contact us directly—we’ll work with you to determine the best arrangement.
Do your drivers speak English?
Yes. All Knight Private drivers speak both Italian and English. For international guests, the tour is conducted entirely in English—from the morning itinerary confirmation to the explanations given during stops. The driver isn’t just a chauffeur—he knows the area and can describe it with the ease of someone who lives there.
What happens if it rains?
The tour will take place regardless. Tuscany has its own charm in any weather—the medieval villages, wineries, and historic palaces aren’t affected by rain. We never unilaterally cancel the tour due to weather conditions. If inclement weather makes a portion of the outdoor itinerary inadvisable, we’ll let you know in advance and suggest equally interesting alternatives. The final decision is always yours.
